It's not about being who everyone else wants you to be. it's about being *yourself and finding someone who loves every bit of it.

They ignore eachother and look the other way but they both know deep down inside that it wasnt supposed to end this way...

I see you with her & it makes me sick. Not because I still care but because the people around you are smiling at you & saying you look perfect together. & it makes me remember that I used to be the girl with you.

When you laughed, you had me laugh with you.
When you cried, you had my urge to hold you.
And when you said you loved me,
you had my heart forever.

I've noticed that being with you I smile a little more often,
I anger a little less quickly,
the sun shines a little bit brighter & life is so much sweeter.
and you where right in front of me the whole time...

I guess that was just bullshit,
cause a promise is not good if you cant keep it.

Maybe sometimes you have to stop waiting for someone to come along and fix what's wrong maybe you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself and realize that no one else has the answer. sometimes you've got to be your OWN hero.
