Dear Yesterday, for you
I'm packing all my woes...
To my dearest yesterday,
I'm giving all my hopes away...
Your smile, oh so infamous
your lips they make me crazed...
Poems are certain meds for the mind
A boundless array of cruelty and kind...
How do you suppose I dispose of this thing?
A disguise I despise so incredibly...
As I stroll in the night
The street lights spotlighting...
Where did you come from
I simply can't tell...
Climbing to the highest height,
Searching for the brightest light...
My heart is now under lock and key.
I no longer let it run free...
All I hear is laughter
As the kids throw sticks and stones...
One dreary morning
i sought out my beautiful strange...
We, sheeted mummies
in a shade of quilted patches...
