How come when you smile I cry?

I like how the only time you ever answer when I call your phone... Is when my number is listed unknown on your caller I.D...

Will I ever be more to you than just a random face in the hallway?

He knows I like him...
So he leads me on for fun...

Its just the normal sequence of events:
I like him
He loves her

He doesnt even realize how much he means to me...

Why can't you just sit here with me,
Hold me in your arms,
And tell me that you love me?

I sleep with the phone by my head at night... Even though I know that, if you were going to call me... It would be during the day...

Time goes by so much slower now that you are not here with me...

If I know that you are so in love with me then why do I feel so empty inside?
