Why is it whenever I feel as if I am just a step away from what I have been waiting for, it all falls down and I become invisible?

All the times I’ve tried to change what I’ve become
Looking back at the person I’ve changed from
Living life in pain each and everyday
Yet every second wanting it all to go away

It hurt when you walked away but i still had somthin 2 say,,
