You never know how badly you've been hurt
til you take the knife out of the wound..
Only then would you realize that you were
better off with it than without..

I'm not hurt because I cut..
I cut because I'm hurt..

A friend saw me with a knife in my hand, the blade against my wrist..
"why are you holding that knife against your wrist!?" she asked
