I didn't have one thing to say to her. Nothing. My best friend for years. The person I'd never run out of things to talk about with. Yet, we were like total strangers.

Of course shes gunna say shes happy for you & flash that famous smile. but look into those green eyes & baby, you broke her.

I swear, i'm crazy and complicated i'm confused and confusing yet you find a way to look past that and be the best friend i've ever known & for that, i cherish you.

So let's go on pretending we're something that we're not; that seems to be the trends these days. Let's pretend we're in love, because between you & me, that's as close as we'll ever get.

I don't want to feel the way she did because I know what happens when you do. You love with your whole heart, with everything, & you wake up one morning & kiss someone goodbye the way you always do, except you mean it as goodbye forever
