I came to a conclusion, I am completely in love with the wicked witch of the neighborhood. She's got beautiful eyes and a mile long smile. She enchants and protects. But the worst is, she's my friend.

I can't say no, I can't say yes. Yet I know this new thing is for the very best. Asking for my approval, knowing I'll give. Then walking away with his hand in yours. Another sad, sad end.

You know, I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them?

So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe.
