Would it kill you to say I Love You and actually mean it?

You told me to give up, not to live,
now look at me im living and im proving you wrong

You allow someone to love you because you trust them to not break your heart

Why is it that the one that said they would love you no matter what, turned your life upside down

If you told me love never hurt, then why did you prove yourself wrong

I realize your wanting a dream of what you read and see on tele of a functional loving father but that dream is often far fetched and often unreachable,
wake up and smell the roses its true

Im too scared to enjoy life, if i do, will i become a faliure to you too?

The people who you want to hear you-dont
The people who you want to see you-dont
The people you want to listen to you-dont
The people you want to love you-dont

Why is it that no-one understands when i say 'im not ok'?
