When we suffer we tend to go one of three ways; we find a way to hurt others, we find a way to hurt ourselves or we find a way to help others. Of such choices, I have only ever found an escape from my own suffering by helping others to escape theirs.

Always strive to be the kinder person. In every situation, treat it as a competition. If someone isn’t being that nice to you, keep in mind the competition. Be a winner in kindness.

Life is a game of choices and even with a bad hand, you can still win if you play your cards right.

Some people say that it’s expensive being single, but I think that it’s even more so expensive to the soul to remain in a place where you are unhappy.

It is important to speak up and protest for justice, but equally important to speak out against injustices. You cannot attain a justice of longevity through the mechanisms of injustice. It only makes the foundations weak.

If you think you are immune from holding racist views because you have black friends or black family members, some people can befriend kids and have kids in their family yet still be pedophiles.

Some people say that I just love to be right. That’s not true. I love being on the side of what is right. And that’s very different.

The world is over-employed with critics. Be someone who understands. It pays more.
