Depression is like being at the bottom of a well. The darkness surrounds you to the point of claustrophobia. You feel hopeless with nowhere to turn. Have faith and look up, as there is light. Look down, there is water. Look within, there is a rope.

We are so powerful that we have been blessed with the ability to create an infinite amount of love from nothing. I know this to be true because I have received no love and had no love to live on, yet I have still found the ability to give love to others.

If a pupil leaves school and can do basic arithmetic; can read & write; pursues their goals and contributes positively to their community, then I would say that is an A* student.

You can avoid the rain by finding shelter; you can avoid the cold by wrapping up warm; you can avoid the night by sleeping through it, but some struggles follow you into bed.

Follow your heart. It will take you to the most amazing places.

If you want to be rich, find a way to sell the unnecessary.

If you want to simply make ends meet, find a way to provide a service.

If you want to be poor, attempt to be rich.

We never truly acknowledge our ability to sail through storms. We always dwell on the shipwreck that never happened. Erroneously gasping for air, as if we were still drowning.

There is good in the world. However, the good are forever doubted due to the wicked who cloak themselves in goodness.

Do not be with someone who only dreams of being with you, but be with someone who works hard to make their dreams come true.

What's the problem with being a tree-hugger? Why shouldn't we hug trees? After all, they do give us life. If we can hug our mothers for doing so, then why not show the same appreciation for trees?
