What is Love?
There are not enough words
to explain it

It is much easier
to become lovers, after being friends
instead of being lovers
trying to be friends

Love and Lust
two different things
I was searching and longing for Love
in return I got lust on his part

Love is innocent and pure
gentle and kind
giving and caring
no boundaries, no sacrifice

You can run all you want
try to hide
your past always behind you
no matter where you go

You never believed
a word I was saying
you never believed
in anything I was doing
Did you ever believe in me?

When I think of you
I begin to cry
it must be tears of joy

I have been waiting all this time
now it has gotten to the point
what have I been waiting for?
Who was I waiting on?

We work to live
we don't live to work
