I was blinded by my heart...

Look behind her eyes
Behind the painted on smile...

You came into my life and tore out my heart
Locked it in a cage with bars of acid...

Lying on the ground
crying...

I fell hard for you
So hard I started to bleed...

They say broken hearts heal but that's a lie
It'll tear you up inside until the day you die...

Sad and alone
I am no longer whole...

Have you ever been in love?
so in love that you couldn't form those words...

I never knew what hit me
I am blinded by your love...

Despair and nothingness float threw my veins
consuming me whole...

Everyday I wake up
I see your jet black eyes staring back at me...

This is hard for me to say
That's why i'm writing this poem...
