I'm not a piece of rope you can play tug-of-war with. I'm not a band-aid you can just peel on and off. I'm not a puppy who waits on you hand and foot. I'm just a girl who happens to foolishly love you, so please, treat me like her.

Trust me, I know how it feels. I know exactuly how it feels to cry in the shower so no one can hear you, and waiting for everyone to fall asleep so you can fall apart, for everything to hurt so bad you want it all to end. I know exactly how it feels.

This "love" of ours has made me age. But it hasn't made me grow up.

I like to think we've been through everything together, ha but looking back on it, we absolutely have not.

To love me, is to know me.
To know me, is to learn me.
To learn me, is to listen to me.
To listen to me, is to care for me.
To care for me, says it all.
