The sky was black that night
the stars, they all roamed free
when you walked right by
and whispered dont forget me

your soul brushed along mine
never again to return
although my heart has turned to ice
my love still continues to burn

And the girl on the moon sits crying. Alone in a silhouette of black. Tears falling down to earth now, seeking to get him back
