Now I have a hollow heart and the edges are all torn, I gave to you a perfect heart but now the thread is worn.

In my dreams you kiss me and hold my hand so tight, but then I wake up crying cuz you’re not holding me tonight.

The tears will fall one by one, but you won't ever know cuz I’m pretending to smile so my frown won’t show.

When you look into my eyes don’t forget to smile, cuz I’m sure my butterflies would like to flutter for a while.

I wish that you weren’t complicated, that you could just make sense I wish that it were simply stated instead of wrapped inside of hints.

I'm thinking about moving on and finding someone new, but then I find that road again that leads me back to you
