Eyes of a Raven

White stretching across forever
cramped inside an orb of dew
blind eyes seeing all the universe
life is something new

breaking all the boundaries
striving to be free
chipping away at the white shell
finally able to see

so small compared to the world
afraid of what's to come
wings to wet to open
waiting for the sun

hunger is an element
food is needed to survive
days passing in oblivion
at least you are alive

strong enough to try now
all are born with flight
jumping off the edge
hope to be alright

falling is so beautiful
forever into dark
spread your wings and soar
on the world you've made your mark

visions of the planet
as it sinks into cold death
treasure now forever
sweet air with every breath

conquer all your enemies
fight to share you're haven
die singing your song of light
through the eyes of a raven

This is actually a combo of life and nature

Naked in the Winterlight

Shining bright in the winter light
listening to the tones
reaching for the deep blue wave
thats whistling in my bones

can't deny my feelings gone
now blowing in the wave
all the voices deep within
is making me their slave

fearless I became that night
I understood the pain
the trouble I have feared so long
it's time to break the chain

freedom is my goal tonight
my soul will find the way
a way into my paradise
and forever there to stay

the wind is cold but I resist
cause this is who we are
naked in the winter light
reaching for a star

Unperfect

A quiet day in the midst of December,
Oh, where have all the singing birds gone?
I see them not, I hear them not,
Their cheery whistles at the break of dawn.

The snow, such fluffy white elegance,
Why is beauty now forever soiled?
By machine driven fast over icy roads,
Nature's sweet gifts are now uncoiled.

Rising to sunrise, soon peering outside,
Why do slushy grey piles of despair abound?
Cigarette butts, and pieces of garbage,
Picked up by the wind and tossed all around.

But how is it that litter gets swept up,
And carried on by the rivers' sweet drift?
It is our fault, alone, for we are humans,
And we are nature's most unperfect gift.

Reeling Deep Inside

Deep in my dreams,
I saw you close by my side.
And the words you said to me,
made me reel down deep inside.

My hand in your hand,
so warm and so lovingly.
Leaving all my dreams behind,
wonder who my prince will be?

What is this wonder,
that love can make you feel?
Am I deep now in slumber,
or is my prince real?

Now, now my dream,
is standing close by my side.
Saying words I wish to hear,
and I'm reeling deep inside.

Morning has come,
my dreams are left far behind.
As I walk through Paris streets,
I know now what I shall find.

This smile on my face,
will carry a love I have known.
Like a fairytale come true,
oh, what joy this love has shown

The wedding bells are ringing,
As you're walking down the aisle.
Your beautiful white dress,
Makes you look like an angel from above.
The crowd is dressed up nicely,
With smiles on their faces.
It all seems like a dream,
On our beautiful wedding day.
Your dad hands you to me,
And I take you by the hand.
The preacher starts his words,
While we listen to every words.
It's time for us to say "I Do,"
And we both say it with a happy smile.
Nobody can stop this wedding,
Because they know we love each other.
We give our first kiss as a married couple,
Everyone clapping with happiness.
This day will soon come,
And we'll enjoy it very much.

Was it a thunder that we felt inside?
Was it a lightning in your beloved eyes?
Or was it a single tear I didn't manage to hide?

Was it a rock pelted into my face,
Or was I just missing your sure embrace?
Was it your kiss that forever I'll taste,
Or were it your words that confused like a lace?

Were we hopelessly lost, or did we go astray?
Was it a light showing us the right way?
Or was it a star falling down from the sky?
When you held me for the very last time

Was it sudden, like in a desert - rain?
No, we both knew it, we knew anyway.
Because we both doubted, was it our sun?
Because our hearts didn't beat so it stunned.

It was just a shadow we mistook for love,
It was just a joke sent to us from above.
It was a photo of a not-existing land,
It was just a shadow so we don't regret.
