Okie dokie.
Let me set out the rules first, then I'll put down the titles.

~Please reserve before posting your poem, otherwise you might not get in.
~2 titles per person
~3 people per title
~I will favour poems that have more punctuation and capitalization.
~can be of any form, structured or not.

Flames of Burning Ice

Unfinished stars spill crossroads over the universe
cloning words on eternal replay; he seem
so unsatisfied with unicorn's empty eyes;
her elegance fades, tied to nonexistence.

Zephyr plays within my candlelight
smudging twilights across the window pane;
cosmic goddesses sing out of tune,
exposing beauty of simple uniqueness.

She reads security codes within his gaze-
silver glances unveil soul's particles.
Sanguinary language glides down the wings,
carrying blades of tarnished speeches.

Oh, this semi- love suffocates planets,
swallowing cities too blank to scream;
in collective anguish he regains control
over those sentiments crashed and pale.

Breathtaking diplomacy embed into emblems,
while she creates chandeliers of hollowness
artificial crafts compliment ardency
of their blossoming, unfinished stars.

Oh precious life,
Some days it feels so long,
Others, there will never be enough,
There is no perfection here.

Drowning in an abyss of tears,
Floating on a cloud of joy,
Getting lost somewhere in between,
Living is a challenge.

Falling when we wish to run,
Running when we wish to fall,
Nothing, but death,
A sure bet.

Beauty now takes so many forms,
Eyes greedy,
Hearts hungry,
Minds poisoned.

Love,
Never understood by all,
But always yearned for,
And appointed.

Oh such tragedy we weave,
Wonder as well,
Far from perfect,
Closely embracing miraculous.

The sun hath set
upon the nigh'
the shades drawn down
the darkness cries

My lips reach quick
launch forth for more
the bottle raised,
the taste adored

Images leave,
abandoned hope
releasing grasp;
burns from the rope.

My lips reach quick
launch forth for more
the bottle raised,
thoughts abhorred

The noose now hung
without a care,
solitude stings
the bottle there.

My lips reach quick
launch forth for more
the bottle raised
the pain ignored

My body limp
amongst the air,
a broken mirror
in which I stare.

A perfect piece
broke into two,
the bottle dry,
Now bids adieu.

Flames of burning ice.

Glamoured features let her down,
punctured wounds and filtered hearts -
set a pace for the missing parts.

Drift away, my loving soul, drift away,
follow the path less followed, soul -
set a pace to make me whole.

Faults of fire burn her cheeks,
reddened skin and lettered vowels -
adulterous proof slides down your bowels.

Charming words to lie for shame,
captured souls and burdened fears -
hold on tightly, slide down tears.

Flames of burning ice surround her being,
broken glass and mocks that soar -
leave her dying, on the floor.

Surrounded By Silence

A tree is falling,
Hear no sound,
Pretend it doesn't,
Hit the ground.

A child crying,
Turn your eye,
What you see,
You can't deny.

People dying,
Drenched in death,
Ghostly whispers,
Haunting breath.

Ears of silence,
Eyes of dark,
A voice that never,
Lends a spark.

Passion left,
Just walked away,
A cold and empty,
Silent sway.

The future needs,
A voice to speak,
Hearts and minds,
That hear the weak.

A wish we find it,
Here today,
Before tomorrow,
Slips away.

Rain, the tears of the sky

The heavens,
Crying, so passionately,
Falling ever so sinuous,
Broken.

Crying for the broken hearts,
Of those who truly cared.
Those who gave their very best,
But only arrived at heartache.

Crying for the lonely,
For those who never tried.
Never did they ever have a chance,
Empty and alone, they died.

Tears of the heavens,
Cry for me tonight,
My heart has been shattered,
I have nothing.

Okay, just so that everyone knows, I'm leaving on a school camping trip from Monday to Friday, and so therefore I won't be able to update this again till Friday.
The contest though, is still open, so feel free to reserve spots or post your poems while I'm gone, I'll just update everything at the end of the week.

Beauty Has No Eyes, It is Nothing but a Smile

Two silhouettes stood, lost in space and time,
A mountain before them, each one they must climb.
But one had it easy and one had it rough.
One walked away because they'd had enough.

The girl who left was bold and brash,
Bowing to anything that ended in cash.
She had the face of an angel, a heart nearly dead.
Walking around her everyone lightly tread.

The girl who faced her demons was strong and kind,
Her face was disfigured, but she had a beautiful mind.
She sang lullabies of softness, putting a baby to sleep,
People listened to her and with happiness they'd weep.

The bold girl acted upon instincts of fear,
Her laugh like a cackle; unpleasant to the ear.
Groaning, everyone left her alone,
And walked to the girl whose smile brightly shone.

This girl stood with her arms stretched wide,
The scars on her face clearly hidden with pride.
Everybody sat and listened for a while,
Not wanting to leave the beautiful girl with the smile.

Okay! I'm back now!

Surrounded By Silence

Smiling in abysmal dismay that we fall into with out regretting,
you reside in ample euphoria at the deceitful words evading.
In soundless depths, I dream out loud to forget you're there.
In soundless grieves, I began to see your facade everywhere.

Immobilized by the beauty in your unspoken heresy,
I fall asleep to the sweet ignorance of a sordid memory.
We will never admit to a mistake that choke our every breath.
never realize the prudent lovelorn within me, even in death.

After all the static confessions died on swollen tongues,
we sleep in bestial ache of a mind too full of junks.
When the fear of emptiness falls in abundant ambience,
we dance to the devastated heartbeats surrounded by silence.

Sorry for neglecting this, but I am now planning to extend this contest to May 1st, hopefully everyone who has reserved will be able to finish by then, otherwise I'll just continue with the judging anyway.
