How to begin and end...

Ok, last night i was in my room and i grabbed my book and i felt like writing... i started writing sentences for poems...but they all seemed wrong... i must of written about 20 beginnings to a poem... but thats it... i couldnt... i had inspiration when i was with my bf...but i have no inspiration... i tried writing about the past but nothing came to me!!
i got so frustrated!!
any pointers....or what i can write about since love was my MAIN inspiration!

If im stuck i try picking a title then looking through songs and finding one line and start with that and one line to end it then work with what you have and see what you come up with x

I mean for godsake i wrote one
about a XEROX machine ^^
