    Where does water come from?

    Where does energy come from?

If you could travel to one place in the world where would it be and why?

    Why do people sterotype others?

    Water: The sky (rain)

Our journey starts deep below the earth in the Floridan Aquifer. The Floridan Aquifer is like a huge underground river that flows beneath the ground. Water in the aquifer comes to the surface naturally as fresh water springs. We get our water from the aquifer through a series of wells, which are holes drilled in the ground down to the water. The wells act like straws poked into the earth and allow us to pull water up from underground. The water is then pumped into a network of pipelines that eventually brings water right into our homes. When you turn on the faucet, water appears!

Energy: The sky (Sun and wind)

So energy can change form, but where did that energy ultimately come from? Let's trace back a chain of events. A bicycle is rolling down the hill, transferring potential energy into kinetic (movement) energy. The bicycle got its potential energy (energy due to position related to gravity) by the rider using metabolic energy to move the pedals. The pedals used mechanical energy to move the chain, which moved the wheels. The rider's metabolic energy came from chemical energy that was stored in the molecules of the food she ate. That chemical energy entered the animal whose meat she ate by the animal digesting a plant and breaking the bonds in its molecules. The plant made the molecules by using light energy from the Sun. The Sun's light energy came from electrons in its atoms lowering energy states, and releasing energy. The energy in the atoms came from the nuclear reactions in the heart of the Sun. What started the nuclear reactions? Physicists think the Big Bang did.

Travel... back to NYC.. I loved it there

Stereotype: Because they feel better about themselves if they just put everyone into groups and are not forced to face something they do not understand

BS...you didn't just type, "Our journey starts deep below the earth in the Floridan Aquifer. The Floridan Aquifer is like a huge underground river that flows beneath the ground. What is your outlook on love? Is it a feeling or is it just our bodies DNA talking to us?

  • Sherry Lynn

I believe love is a combination of feelings and chemestry. There has to be some type of chemestry between to people for an initial attraction and if that chemestry is lost so is the relationship.

Scientist have proven that our bodies put of a scent that attracts other people. I think that this is true in a large aspect; however, there has to be more than chemestry for love to form and sustain other wise you just have two lustful people looking for passion.

Sometimes... I think that people often fall in love with the idea of love and confusing that with the real thing.

If you could be any cartoon character who would it be and why?

If you could have any super-human powers what would it be and why?

  • Sherry Lynn

I really like donkey off of shrek... I would have to be him... his personality is great!

Flying I suppose.... that way if I sensed danger I could just grab the kids and get them out of the situation... also it would save bundles on travel fares during vacations....

Tell us a little about yourself.

  • Sherry Lynn

    You stole my question...

My life is not as it appears... many see me one way when in reality I have learned to fake it all so well.

The concept of fake it til you make it.. well I am still working on making it LMAO...

I do not trust people very easily and often times when I do trust I regret it.

I am always willing to offer my advice, but I rarely take the advice I offer... I know I would be better off if I just practiced what I preached LOL

I have very little patience and often want to escape reality and go to the lake... I love the lake and find more peace there than I can explain.

I love adventure ... like to dominate when pushed... and rarely back down.

Those are the bad things... the good things:

Once I allow you in my little circle I am always quick to forgive

I tend to care to deeply about others and what they are going through

I have a compassion to help the younger kids and to try and protect them from life

My children are my world... without them I am incomplete and feel like nothing

Oh... and I tend to hide my feelings from the world.. all but anger.. and in case you haven't noticed... I rarely talk about my childhood or marriage LOL

    You like to give advice?

Hrmmm ok, please give me some advice on this subject matter.

Why is it that I can't find a girlfriend? Is it the way I act? Is it because girls are affraid of commitment at this age? What is it? Please explain.

  • Sherry Lynn

Mmm..... Maybe you are trying to hard? Maybe your work schedule... I am not there so I do not know...

Maybe you are looking in the wrong places. She could be someone that you see everyday and yet she does not fit the desciption of what you are looking for so you just pass on by her without thinking.... I really do not know because I am not there...

Why does love no longer prevail (sp?) as much as it once did?

    ^^

    Coco:

I think that with each generation more and more people expect love to just hold them together instead of working at their relationship.

Even love has to contain work for the relationship to work or it will just fade away and be replaced with anger, hurt, and distrust.

I also think that we have taught our younger generation to just walk away if the problems are to much instead of trying to make it work.

Love does not conquor all; however, with love comes the additional strength to find a compromise and solve the delimas... but one must first be willing to work at it.

  • Sherry Lynn

Why is almost everything i say wrong?

    ^^

Tay, I do not know what all you are saying so I cannot properly answer that question; however, I can give you a few things to looks at

    1. Does someone feel that they are being judged or reprimanded by what you say?

    2. Do they feel as though you are being rude or over critical?

    3. Are you talking when you should be listening?

    4. Are you be sarcastic when someone is trying to be serious?

    5. Are you yelling or being mean and disrespectful?

These are the things that I am constantly talking to my own children about. Other than this list I am not sure right off since I am not there.

    Cute and single?

Actually.... I have no idea.... probably cry! I would def. ask questions and want to know what happened and how we ended up asleep in the same spot together....

  • StandStill

Sherry, i don't know if you hve the answer, but i shall ask anyway...

Why do we feel like we have to be strong for our friends? why do we not feel like we're good enough to help them, like they deserve better.....?

    ((or maybe that's just me?))

  • Sherry Lynn

It is human nature to want to carry the burdens of those we care about. How are we going to carry those burdens when we allow others to see that we are not as strong as we say.

Also, we have a fear that if our friends see that our life is totaaly screwed up then they will not ask us for help... and us helping makes us feel needed and everyone has that desire to be needed.

Often times we feel like they deserve better because we know first hand how screwed up our own lives are... we question who are we to give advice when we cannot even handle our own situations.

The thing is that we often give great advice to those we love, but we rarely take the advice that we give.

  • StandStill

Do you think it's hypocritical to not be able to follow your own advice?

  • Sherry Lynn

No.... I think it is human because when we are in the situation we are actually experiencing all the emotions and emotions affect our decisions.

  • StandStill

Do you think music is theraputic Sherry?

    ((lol. don't ask..))

  • Sherry Lynn

    For some people it is.

I know when I am totally ticked off I will throw in something that has a fast hard beat to it and work out. The fast music pushes me while the workout releases a chemical that actually helps combat stress

    why do you write?

  • Sherry Lynn

To release my emotions... 99% of what I write is based upon what I am feeling at that time and life experiences
