I love writing poems and when I write them they are about what happens in my daily life. But I just want to learn how to turn poetry into music. Please advice...

If you think you have any kind of musical talent, there's your starting point. Sometimes when I write I have a tune in mind, and it's easy to build the poem into song lyrics. Unfortunately I'm musically illiterate, so nothing ever comes of it. But the tune's still there in my head. :-)

I used to write lyrics, i found it easy to start with writing a bit for the chorus, then work around that to get your verses. xxx
