Plagiarism

Why are peole entering lyrics from artists such as Taylor Swift's 'I'd Lie' and claiming it as their own?

I very recently read a poem on this site titled "i'd lie" at the time i had no clue it was a song..so i left the girl a very nice comment and highly praised her..and she accepted it?!?

am I the only one who thinks this is wrong????
