My Problem: Love. [Help!]

Hi everyone!

I love to give advice, and help people, but currently Im in a position where Im the one that needs help!

The story:

I like this guy named Ryan. He's soo nice, and told me (in an affirmation) on our year 12 camp:

" Nicole I think you have alot more confidence than you think you do.. And I also like the way you speak your mind "

You see, I was crying because it touched my heart! But I reallly like him and I have known him for 5 years, like, as in going to school, and I have only just realised I reallly like him! Im too shy/scared to ask for his number.. etc..

And another problem..

We had our formal, 2 days after we read our affirmations, and the after party was held at his house, and it was the most scarriest moment ever- I HOOKED UP WITH HIS BROTHER (older)!!

Well, his brother kissed me.. =/

It was soo embarrasing! I'd never been kissed like that before, and I got my friend to tell Ryan about the kiss with his brother, and he wasnt really that reactive to it -- doesn't realise how much it was a big deal for me.. =[

But, the point is, I reallllllly like Ryan, but:

- How do I know whether he wont give me his number?

- He wont like me back (the same way)?

- He won't freak at me, or make a mockery of me?

You never know anything unless you put yourself out there and try, no one can tell you what he will say or what he thinks. Though I don't see how you can like him so much yet make out with his brother, that's probably not going to be a tick in the positive column for you lol

Haha.. yea.. it was soo embarrasing.. i wasnt drinking at the after party, yet his brother who is like, 22 i think, was. He like, was talking to me for 10 - 15 min then BAM he lent over slowly... and kissed me. I shut my eyes and went soooo red! LOL

He told me i was beautiful too.. that made me even redder! LOL

See, a while back, I did do that, gave this guy i never met before my number. and he sent me a message, saying he wasnt at all interested in me =[

I can tough it out, but Im worried about the rejection bit, especially with Ryan =[ Because i reallllly like him, Ive never felt this way before! =]

Put yourself out there and just be who you are

Rejection is a common thing that most are afraid of however if you dont go out there you'll never get what you want

GO FOR IT^^

Most of us are scared of rejection and not knowing and blah blah blah. its pretty common. but if you like him that much, here's what i'll tell you:

a) why would you hook up with his brother?

b) why would you take it further by flaunting it. having your friend tell him, really?

and c) if you really want to know that bad just suck it up and do it. its the only way your gonna know so do it or don't.

Yea, I do agree, but I still cant do it, even though my confidence is rockket high...

And as for above, I am just soo shy! And tomorrow I have maths with him again... yay! But yea, I will definately make a move tomorrow =D

Ill say something along the lines of:

" hey question, could I please have ur number? "

Would that work or is it too boring?

Should I blurt it out that I like him?? =]

It doesn't matter who makes the first move, if you like him why would you ever allow that to happen with someone as close as his brother? You can't like him too much.

Gaaahh its tooo hard to explain!

Ive known ryan for 5 years, but we were just in the smae classes, etc..

Then, at the after party, his brother like, lent over and kissed me, but you see, it had only occurred to me that i realllly like ryan, i didnt let it happen, it just happened, ans happened alll soo fast!

Obviously you let it happen lol Or it would not have happened, if you can't even own up to it, what's the point in discussing it or bringing it up? lol The whole point is maybe you should check yourself and if you really like him don't let things like this "just happen". The only way you will ever know anything is by talking to him.

I went up to him and said, "Can you do me 1 favour, and yell at me and say 'stop procrastinating?'"

And at first he was like, Whats that? So i said, it is when you waste time in order to advoid something =]

And after about a few seconds he said, 'stop procrstinating." and i did and then asked him for his number!! =]

And he said yes! ;D ;D

YAY!

And then i pulled my phone out and he said *Snap* cos we had the SAME PHONE! =]

YAY!

Then I msged him last night, and for an hour we were like, just txting back, something like 10 messages later.. LOL
