Do u think this is weird

Do you think its weird for a 16 year old and an 18 year old to be engaged. The guy is 16 he asked me to marry him and i said yes. some people like the fact were engaged and others don't think its right. we've been dating over a year and hafe and he asked me a couple weeks ago.

No. same here. im 17 and hes 19 now tho and we live together

I wouldn't leave him if someone said it isn't right I love him way to much for that.
My parents, and his parents were about the same age as we are when they got married and both of their marriages are still together and everyones saying for a young age it wouldn't last long but I don't belive that. we've been though alot already and always found a way to work things together.

Anyone can get engaged, it just takes a ring and hopefully some sweet words and a yes. A marriage, like any relationship is work. Make it a long engagement and build your life and relationship. If you feel ready now and your relationship is strong, it will last until you finish school and have a better foundation to build upon. Dating for a year and a half and being married are different things. My whole point lol Enjoy the engagement, prepare for the future, no need to run down the aisle.

You can't always jade yourself by looking at another relationship, we are not them and they are not us, times change, people change, you can get 20 years out of a marriage and suddenly find yourself in divorce court. Life happens.

Its!..not weird......well may be u should wait a while...hes 16 yet..im not sayin dat hes 2 small or sumthin..but gals mature fast..and u must be alot matured...u should wait a while..may be till he turns 18 or 19...no body is gonna stop u at dat time 2...so y not take a while 2 understand each other alil...sum time and love will let u decide better about wat should u do!....even tho u've been 2gether 4 over a year....der will still be things u need 2 understand about each other....well well...it takes lifetime 2 understand our partners at times!..but tell u wat...not offending u i'll say..wait a while and den wallah ur free 2 do ne thing u want 2.....caz ppl now adays start a relationship....fight on a small matter and den break it off...and stay heartbroken....so u might learn new things in time!..hope u have a good relationship..=)

Thinking logically ur in highschool or at least he is and most relationships in highschool dont last. also you have plenty of time to get married and it is a life time commitiment, make sure ur actually in love and that there is no way in hell that you could fall for anyone else because like i said marriage is a life time thing.

thinking with the hear, love knows no age or gender or race. if ur truely in love screw what ppl think and get married anyway and i hope for the best for you whether u get married or not.

I dnt think its weird im 17 hes 21...and i have the ring on i really dnt care wat ppl think my advice its go for it nothing wrong with that... "age but a mere factor of life"
