Lightning

Struck by a lightning, in a dark night
While nightingale's songs fade to silence
Flowing shadows embrace the light
While floating in life's purest essence

The wind conspires with dark clouds
The arrival of this storm shall be soon
A lightning that could destroy crowds
Falls upon the soft shine of the moon

Electricity running through my veins
The sound of the thunder, from high above
Is the confusing beat that my heart sustains
Struck by the lightning that you call love

Reserve: Alone.

Alone

I am alone in this world,
But no one seems to care,
Even for someone like me,
The pain is too much to bear.

I have no family,
I have no friends,
Just pain deep down inside,
Pain that never ends.

I have accepted this though,
It is a part of life for me,
I will remain like this,
Until the end of eternity.

In this enormous world,
I stand as an island,
And when the pain gets too much,
My heart heads for the highlands.

There is no escape,
For the pain contained inside,
Just thinking of the hurt now,
I have broken down and cried.

There is nothing left here for me,
Nothing that I know,
So now that I have shared my pain,
Now I shall go.

A Perfect Night

November skies painted dark blue
Like an angelic midnight feast
Through hidden trees, a soft breeze flew
From the core of the night is a lullaby released

Desire is a shadow compared to our embrace
This melody of wonder, playing in my heart
All stars reunited in unending grace
Bound to us, drawing a piece of art

I lose myself in the sweetness of your voice
It feels like dancing between the candles of moonlight
If time and space could obey my choice
I would live forever in this perfect night

Alone in defeat
The smell of burnt wood
Snow breaks under your feet
With every step you take
To get you somewhere you don't know
To get you to someone
Who doesn't love you

The bitter winds
The moonlit sky
Shining silver on
The passers-by
Under the halo of a cold street lamp
There and all alone
Giving light for the lost souls

A poem called alone

The pen keeps breaking
Blood and ink on the ground
With the simplest words
A new pain breaks unknown
With the simplest words
Can make you feel alone

Chill your arms within my heart.
Fear for life, from the very start.
Burn your eyes within my smile.

Far away, you've fulfilled my dreams.
Yet far away isn't what it seems -

Break your heart at the drop of a dime.

Forget the anger held inside,
take my words and gladly abide.
Remember the days you used to smile?

So we went outside and turned music on

Lightning

A fan of flashes that come in all white.

Rain drops are just needles to inject life into land,
While putting hand brakes on before the light shines green,
Sliding not slipping through roads tight as held hands,
It's not always easy to speak of where I've been.

Don't walk alone down alleys nor dirt roads at night.

You taught me all I needed to know about distance
And changing gears with limited visibility,
Although why have I been brought into your existence?
Our names fit as an abuse of alliteration, my vulnerability.

Never did you see the oil and blood on our road.
I was telling you we are moving faster than the needle rain.
You weren't an escape or something to ease the load,
Just something to put a little ease on the pain.

Sealed lips don't always bring delight.

Couldn't tell you how anything made me feel,
Why do you seal your eyes when it's thunder you 'see',
Are you shifting emotions, trying to make them real?
I'm lost in the rain again, but you'd expect that from me.

Sometimes lightning seems the only light.

Please don't sleep yet,my one & only
oh be sure,while we are on our cruising
in the arms of the slow-swinging seas
we're going to do some splendor things.

let me take you oh so far away tonight
through the awesome of this fiery night
my love this time come,come with me swiftly
we'll leave the world that full of weary.

move closer to me and keep holding on
together we build the land of our own
let us think of beautiful things we know
dreaming of deeds that we mean to show.

halfway up to the jealous moon
here upon this island miles away from home
kiss me softly just once more
for loosed till the dawn are we.
