One Night

It took love but one moment
To break my beating heart
On second thought, you take the blame
You tore it all apart

One minute we were happy
Years now I've been sad
Convinced that love is not a friend
Believing I was mad

All found to be beautiful
Through love's enraptured view
Seemed to somehow melt away
In angry thoughts of you

It never really disappeared
I just refused to see
The beauty in the loneliness
That's shrouding the real me

The wall I built to keep love out
Has fallen on this night
My soul is naked, here I stand
Reborn in loves pale light

At first I thought you were winning,
Bruised by this lonely heart.
Soon I felt that our chances were thinning-
Both growing further apart.

Every time we say our goodbyes,
We know we'll see each other once again.
Back into your arms my heart flies;
The lamb in the lion's den.

Wanting to believe that we'll soon end,
Finishing the agony we both feel.
I don't want to be just your 'friend'.
Why is she such a big God damn deal?

All hope we had is now lost,
As you stand there with your bouquet.
We've both paid this priceless cost-
From my arms you slipped away.

Laying Here Thinking please - Ok done

Lying here thinking of such innocence
I can't understand what she did wrong
And if she didn't was she just a tool
In your ultimate plan

It seems to harsh why let her suffer
And that of her parents, the doctors and nurses
Only a new baby what can we say
She was early to begin with
Six weeks to the day

Must she go through so much pain?
In hospital now she can't complain
Not old enough to talk
Not strong enough to breathe God why?

Why allow this to someone so young
New to this world she's only just began
Only you Lord know if she will pull through
Why lord why should she suffer?

Lying here thinking I just don't understand

When is the due date?
