Thank you, that poem took a lot of work as well, It took me aprox. 3 weeks to fully finish and tweek it how I wanted it. I myself am trying to expand my vocabularly as well as my style. :]

Whew, you've me beat then! :P
I think mine just took around a week,
maaaybe two. It was a little frustrating at first,
I don't think I've ever spent so long
on a poem before. But I have to admit,
the end product was well worth it.
Such a sense of pride!

It definitely adds a bit more thrill to writing,
challenging yourself to improve. :P

What was you inspiration?

Well Lisa started a contest in our club,
and we had to choose a title from a list of songs.
I seen "I'm Not Alone", and thought it was..
a very ordinary, predictable kind of title. So I wanted
to take it a do something a little unexpected,
and yeah. Haha. I just related it to my use of books
as a coping method for loneliness back a few years ago.
And voila! :P
