uhhhhh........it's not working!!!!!

submit it in the slang category....it will accept it there... then you can click the "edit" link and change the category to be the one you want it to be

yah it's done that to me before too. Very annoying:S, but what I did is I just retyped the sentences that had the "misspelled" word in it, and this I tried not making any mistakes (something that I would have to hit the backspace for). It seemed to work after that.
