Hello fellow members, I am starting something new called the, "Ask Joe Column" you can ask me any questions pertaining to myself, to you, advice seeking, love, friendship, etc. Ask me about almost anything at all, as long as it applies to the rules and regulations of the site.

what do you want to do as a job ?

Deathsdarkness: I plan on opening a Sicilian Pizza Resturant once I graduate University. Currently I've been working at an Insurance Company.

Cool if i ever visit the states ill drop by i love pizza

can you play blackjack?

Deathsdarkness: Yes, pretty easy game if you ask me...lol although if you are playing in a casino, it takes some knowledge to know when to continue or fold.

Not if you know how to count cards its not illegal but i would not let the owners see you doing it

why did you change your dp? you old one was better =]

Deathsdarkness: Depends how you are counting cards. If you are using an outside device it is illegal. Otherwise if you just purely counting cards by yourself, it is completly legal, it doesn't say anything in the rules nor law about that.

Well, why do people change their hair color, get haircuts, paint their cars, change their clothing, etc. It's pretty much the same reason, they want change. So why not? I tend to change my dp quite a bit actually.

Now ive just realised that was a very stupid question

why did you want to be a mod?

Deathsdarkness: Well I've been a mod since late 2005 early 2006. We used to have a chat on the site, and I was on here almost 24/7 literally. I was one of the only people whom was on that much who was inforcing the rules of the site. I asked them if I could be a mod, and apparently, they were watching me for a while, so they said okay. And that is pretty much it. I must say the way we chose and pick is different from back then, however, I'm glad I was given the chance. I've learned a lot, and hopefully I've been able to teach a lot as well.

Im glad you have learned a lot from this experiance i have seen you in other disscussions and you are a good role modal to people here and people look up to you and you have given good advice to people

what did you mean by outside device?

Deathsdarkness: yeah they have stuff that looks like car alarms that fit in your pocket and vibrate to aid you in your counting. And other devices like that...

Have you ever been to vegas?

Deathsdarkness: No

Do you know how to count cards?

Deathsdarkness: Kind of, I know the basics.

I kinda do too i learned off the film 21 its accually quiet intresting

would you like to know how? i found a site that explains it really well?

Deathsdarkness: I actually have a book on it, thanks for the offer though. You see, I like magic and a lot of card tricks you need to know how to count.

Yeah, I've seen the movie 21, it was an intersting movie. They used a method called group counting though.

Im using the hi low counting method 2 3 4 5 6 are worth +1 7 8 9 are worth 0 and 10 J Q K A are worth minus 1 heres like a practise run get a deck of cards and when your counting you will know you have done it right when you have a 0 count at the end

Deathsdarkness: the hi low method is one of the most used and easiest to understand. There are so many different methods for counting cards.

I know but it is the easyest to start with before moving on to harder forms

do you ever get sick of me asking you questions?

Deathsdarkness: No not really. If I was sick of people asking me questions I wouldn't have started this thread. This is the tenth thread, so by the end of this thread I would have answered 500 questions (instead of 1000, because half of the thread is my replies)

No i mean just me because im the only one that has been asking you questions i was just wondering if you found it a bit repetitive?

Deathsdarkness: oh haha, no, I actually enjoy it. It gives me something to do. I'm at work and it gets kind of boring here because I do back file conversion which is basically scanning huge documents into the computer for the company to use electronically.

That does sound boring im glad im such good company lol im on holiday from collage ive finished this year im off for 2 months so ill be on here a lot but i always try and get on here at least once a day or more

Deathsdarkness: yeah, I'm on here almost every single day from around 8am till 5pm my time. I live in CT which is on the eastern side of the States. It is 12:20pm right now.

What are you going to School for? I am majoring in Buisness Management and minoring in Hospitality (hotel/resturant) Management.

Im going to collage for a first diaploma in art and design i need to do it to qualifiy for a BETEC in photography which is what i want to do as a future job

Deathsdarkness: I love art and designing stuff as well as photography. What is BETEC?

Its a high level qualifercation in something our educational sytem is different to you in the us im glad you like those things too

Deathsdarkness: Oh okay. So, what kind of art do you like? I mostly like drawing with pencil and/or pen but I do do other mediums. What kind of camera do you have? I have a Analog Cannon Rebel EOS SLR. I want to get a digitial though.

Its hard to say really i like all forms of art the creativeness of it is what i like and find truely amazing i dont have a very good camera its this small digital thing when i get enough money i hope to get a better one

Deathsdarkness: Yeah, I like just about everything dealing with art, including the ladies...lol

I suggest getting a digital SLR camera, those are the best for taking pictures. ;]

Ive tryed counting cards ive only done it right a few times and i can only do it when i say the count out loud which is not good

Deathsdarkness: Yeah it's a bit hard to do in your head, but if you can, all the more power to you ;]

I really haven't a clue, well I mean I do, but I don't know the location. If he was some where were he can cross a border that has a different timezone, then it is possible.
