Love at first sight ...

Hi just thought I'd see your opinions on love at first sight. Do you believe in it or do you believe that you have to learn to love somebody, no matter how much you know them?

My neighbours are an old cranky woman and her old non-cranky husband. We regularly invite them over for dinner and they told us of how they met.
Apparantly they saw each other from across a market, and BOOM! :)
I haven't experienced it myself, but I do believe that love at first sight is a true thing...
