Replace computer battery?

Last night my computer battery was fine. For a while it would only last about less than an hour charged but it was fine like that. Today however the split second the charger is knocked out the computer shuts off. Even though the charger was in, it shut off. (My friend had the hiccups, she thinks she might have hit the table she was sitting at accidentally which has the computer on it and might have hit the charger loose for a fraction of a second so that when we quickly looked after it instantly shut down, we still saw the charger lit) It says 0 percent charged despite also saying charging. When the plug is in, like I said it works just doesn't seem to register a charge accept when it flashed off despite charging and my friend thinking she knocked it loose that tiniest second to where it fell back in. Is it time to replace the battery?

Reformatted earlier, and barely went online so I highly doubt it's a virus. And believe she might have loosened it.

Guess I'll have to find a store that sells the one I need. It's a pain at the moent.
