Spam in PM's

I've noticed heaps of PM spam lately, thankfully you guys have been great about reporting it.

We think Janis came back to the site recently and fixed the activation emails, meaning we no longer have to activate accounts manually, one by one. This also means spammers will be muuuuch less likely to be activated (hopefully!).

We haven't actually heard from him personally. I'm hoping he'll be around more!

I've PM'ed him as well as emailed him; however, much like you guys (mods) I haven't actually heard from him yet. I do however, have hope in that he will be more active in the next couple of months. After all, he has been on several times already.

Since the activation email goes out now, does the penalty and appeal email get sent as well, do we know?
