Favorite NOVELS?

What is your favorite Novel of all time? Does it have a movie? Who is the writer?

"The Stand" by Stephen King. No movie, but it had a mini-series.

"The Host" by Stephanie Meyer. No movie, but it needs one!

But my FAVORITE series EVER is the HARRY POTTER SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

Hannibal Lecter series- Thomas Harris. yes, the very few that i liked, tho not precise, as with most books that are made into movies.

I really like the Skulduggery Pleasant books :)

The Road by Cormac McCarthy is my favourite book.

^I thought that book was great, but I have trouble imagining it as a "favorite." Very good, but so unspeakably gray.

(I love his simple prose, though. Way effective.)
