Poetry COntest

So i entered my poem "what you dont know (extended version)" into the world poetry movement contest and i just got a letter today saying am a semi finalist and its entered into the final competition which is a grand prize of $1000 and its going to be published in a book and i dont know whether i should believe it or not

I can smell this scam from a mile away, just be careful.

Here's a bit of info I found on it.

"It's a notorious scam. Practically everybody who enters that bogus contest gets a letter calling them a "semifinalist," and gets invited to buy that worthless, ridiculously expensive book, which is just the poems of all the semifinalists slapped between covers. That book has no credibility in the legitimate publishing world. No libraries buy it. No bookstores stock it. It sells only to people who enter the contest and are naive enough to fall for the scam. Basically, you send them your poem and they make a fortune selling it back to you."
