I was SO happy for Andy Murray!

I have disgusted with what is happening in boxing though...

Go Andy Murray!...He's been so close in a couple of Grands Slams, now...he's finally had his day!

Katie Taylor got Ireland's first Gold today. She is considered the best female boxer in the world and is an Irish national hero at this stage. Part of the reason women's boxing was in the Olympics this time was because of her (she fought exhibition bouts around the world to convince the Olympic committees that women's boxing should be included). Well done to her!

Congrats to LeBron James and Kevin Durant for their performances in the gold medal game against Spain.
Pau Gasol and Serge Ibaka were awesome. Can't help feeling that if Marc Gasol had not had foul trouble and sat out the third quarter, the game may easily have gone the other way.
US over Spain 107-100 and it was closer than the score indicates.

I got so emotional when Team USA took the gold in basketball! Kobe's and Coach K's last Olympics :(
