Title: Shelter

Breathing in the icy air.
The darkness seems to settle.
She grasps her hand onto the rail,
onto secure, but frigid metal.

She feels alone, exposed, and broken.
Not knowing where to turn.
Everyone let her make mistakes,
saying, 'one day she will learn.'

But where was the protection,
from the ones she knew and loved?
The ones supposed to gaurd her.
Instead they pushed and shoved.

Protection and a shelter,
is what they should've been.
Instead there's total freedom.
Never, who?what?where?and when?

So parents, just remember.
You have a job to do.
Guide your childrens steps.
For they will always need you.

Title: The Tree of Faith

May Summer breeze squeeze your rigid knees
And let you fall with the speed of a sneeze
so I may stand in front of you as the tree
that never moved not even with the wind.

Perhaps then you will see the shade I give
as my branches hold your hands to stand again
because no matter the times you are to fall
I will always be there as your standing tree.

Title: Love Rekindled

Flames lick the back of my neck,
heat engulfs us both
you peeled off my deceptive mask
to reveal the frightened girl
that lies beneath the stone like stare
living in her fantasy world
afraid of loving, no one had ever cared.
A kiss upon my lips so soft
passion bursting in my chest
love once thought was lost
rekindled and stronger than before
beauty not judged but rather cradled
within your hands awaiting to be adored
soul so delicately frail.
An embrace leaving me breathless
words can't describe how I feel
my fingers through your hair move restless
your eyes twinkling like the stars
warming me with your stare
soothing my once aching heart
engulfing me with bottomless care,
leaving us with,
love rekindled.

Title : A wandering soul

Our love was born
like a naive baby-
tender and innocent,
fresh and adorable.

Days passed by
when it grew
like a mature infant-
cheerful and lively.

All seemed so beautiful
as we both saw our bond
grow old
like the life of a human.

But a day came
when the throat of our relation
got slit by
the knives of mistrust.

The wounds of it
were severe and hence
our love succumbed
to the bad tidings.

Our love's soul
became secluded
as we left its clutches
to live a new beginning.

It wandered around,
sobbing and reminiscing
of the perished memories
we once lived.

It tried haunting both of us,
so it could
control our lives
and rekindle our lost love.

But our new life
was much stronger
than the spirit
of our old love.

As we ignored
its cry
and simply
moved on.

It was depressed with the fact,
it wouldn't grow young
and reflect
the beauty of a youthful love.

It had tears
in its eyes
as it knew its life
grew stagnant now.

And that it couldn't find solace,
but wander around
like the dead soul
of a forgotten love.

Title : Endings

He put his arms around her,
and held her so, so near
His hands were moist and trembling,
he couldn't hide his fear
His mind knew it was over,
was his Heart that couldn't see
Her love had gone, couldn't carry on,
the end of she and he
They'd been so far together,
on a white horse in the sky
Riding through those clouds of love,
they went so very high
But now he was like stranger,
the love had left her eyes
She said goodbye, as she fell,
falling through those skies
He gave her one last kiss,
he knew it was the last
Then walked away and she became
a figment of his past..

Title: Tears

Every teardrop that fall from eyes,
I don't know what it symbolize,
Sadness, happiness, anger, is this right?
I don't really know what's inside.

I wish I never been born,
So that I can never experienced to be alone.
In every steps that I've take,
It would always be a mistake.

When the moon shows it's bright at the dark sky,
I can't avoid to reminisce all the memories
and began to cry,
Every teardrop that runs on my face,
A cold wind kiss it and would like me to embrace.

I'm hoping someone to evade tears to flow,
But I know I can do.
Even tears would shed from my eyes,
I will still stand to face the challenges in my life..

Beware A Nightly Visitor !

Once upon a midnight eerie, while I pondered weak and weary
Over volumes of old score books from the season over and many before,
While I nodded nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping
As if someone a gently rapping, rapping at my front door
"Tis some late caller" I did mutter, rapping at my front door
Only this and nothing more.
Ah distinctly I remember, the cricket all over as was September
And at my fire-side, the flames cast shadows across the floor
Eagerly I wished the morrow, for these books brought only sorrow
Sorrow as no runs did I score, not this season, nor none before
At my name always a zero, always this and nothing more.
And again although not certain, at first a rustle at my old curtain
Then another tap upon my door, terror gripped me my nerves all tore
So that now I stood there, my heart so fast a beating,
Wondering who could be entreating, entrance to my front door
It must be some late visitor, only this and nothing more.
Presently my soul grew stronger, so hesitating then no longer
"Sir or Madame, truly your forgiveness I implore"!
But the fact is I was napping, when so gently you came rapping
And I scarcely heard you tapping, tapping at my front door,
So now I'll open up to you,... my front door,
Darkness there and nothing more !
Deep into this darkness I stood peering, standing, wondering ever fearing
Doubting, dreaming dreams, no mortals dared dream before
And the silence was unbroken and the stillness gave no token
Was there out there, some ghostly apparition?
Cause what I heard, lent further to my suspicion
When forlorn was my cry, "Will someday at my name be a score"?
Came back the echo, "Nevermore"!
Back into my room quickly turning, all my soul within me burning
Only soon again to hear the tapping, somewhat louder than before
Is it now someone rapping, rapping at my window pane?
Who is this person most profane? The mystery I shall explore
Or is it just the wind and my imagination?
Yes, maybe this and nothing more.
Open quickly I flung back the shutter and without fuss or flutter
In there stepped a stately black duck from the saintly days of yore,
Not the least embarrassed was he.. What business did he want with me?
Jumped down onto my armchair and then onto my front room floor,
Standing there and staring, with beady eyes towards me, glaring
Said I unto this fowl, "What be your name" ? Quacked back the duck,
"Nevermore"!
Then me thought, is he a prophet? Come to warn me, it's time to stop it,
So closer to him I did draw, "Tell me now duck, don't be a bore!
Even closer to him reclining, I was thinking and divining
"Will a century, I ever score"? Quacked back the duck,
"Nevermore"!
Ah, this bird he made me furious, although I grew still more curious
Is he some Tempter, sent to tempt me? This duck I was beginning to abhor!
Again I engaged him into guessing, towards the brute expressing,
"Shall a fifty be mine to score"? Quacked back again,
"Nevermore"!
Crazy yet more crazy I was going, but I had to keep on knowing,
"Quaff, oh quaff, Tell me this and don't say nevermore
Take thy bill from out my heart's core, and thy form back out the door
Leave me now for it is late, dare not stop to even close the gate,
And am I destined, always A Duck my score"?
"Quack oh Quack and you're spot on mate"!
Then vanished into the night, left me lamenting for now and evermore!!

Title: Moon Siren

The sea's breath whispers
The siren songs of the moon
Where all is serene

the green foliage
rapidly incinerates;
earth's clouds produce rain

P.s Firemen are earth's clouds. :)

Filling empty air
Resounding in space and time
Hollow and haunting

I was just wondering when you are gonna announce the results, cuz the date you entered before said the first of may and it's the 8th. wasn't sure if you changed the date and I just didn't see it?

Yeah....i agree...and the span of your contest is too long....it took almost a month....sorry...

JESUS THE ALMIGHTY GOD
The almighty god Jesus created this wonderful earth;
He is the way, the truth and the vitality.
Jesus is called the everlasting father since his birth,
Nobody can suspect on his capability.

God is with us at every step and every case,
His emotional heart always forgives the sinner;
By every people he will be forever retrace,
We are proud to be the son of the great lord.

He is the prince of peace, faith and loyal;
Jesus teaches us lesson of uprightness.
Love the lord with all your heart and soul,
God of salvation never let us to feel the lonesomeness.

He is the reflection of the splendor, glory and majesty;
We should embrace the living father blessing.
God wants every creature to live with liberty,
We should not eat and sleep without worshipping.
