Needing help with a poem

I have had an idea about a poem for a couple years now. For some reason i just cannot pull it together. I might seem lame or corny to some but I cannot stop trying to write it. If anyone would want to help, please message me. This site has changed over the years and there are many younger folks here now. I would prefer someone older, closer to my age of 48. Just do not feel right messaging a younger person. Thanks.
