Hun no offense but have you seen the club battle threads? I do log in but I am whipped at the moment I can only talk not make poetry everyone has a limit i reached mine eeh a 100 poems ago? Cliffhanging, sometimes you are a few miter away from another guy in the opposite wall, but if something happen to the guy even in that close proximity, you know you would never be able to give him a hand because it takes hours, sometimes days, for you to climb down and up again or vice versa, to get there.

likewise, Remember when you said you live few block away from me and we should meet? Now I am just trying to say: it seems this way. But I live beyond highway 7 and there is the milky way distance between where I am an where you are, like those rock I was talking about. In all the humbleness.

All that is why I like to stay OUT of these lovely board if it wasn't due to my club's competitive streak and I love them for that since I'm like that too :) I wouldn't be on here

So dear then you should turn off your TV, radio, and computer... if you do not want to face the real world. Because they all reflect the same thing. We are living in a utterly conflicted world; our poetry have to reflect that too. We cannot versify our adoration of flowers when our children are being ran over by tanks. This by itself proves that our adoration for the beauty is not genuine, fake like plastic trying to imitate the real flowers.

Hun I may CHOOSE to ignore the "real" world BUT I work, I pay my s*** and I support my family if that's NOT the real world please transport me to Idk a Barbie world cause all she has to do is look pretty to the part about children being run over by a tank, that part I know because I see the world all dark my friends have been raped, they have been in the hospital because of people who have no soul, and I've lost a hell of amount of friends to suicide, because this damn world ain't a fantasy life because if it was then I wouldn't have to deal with working my tail off to support my family I wouldn't have to deal with the news of children being slaughtered I wouldn't have to deal with loss yes I choose to ignore the bad because if I don't I'll completely go insane and I have to much to do to let that happen so excuse me for ACTUALLY trying to live my life instead of dealing with stuff that DOESN'T have to do with my life that's NOT paying my bills till they do and I'm sorry to the people who HAVE died because of egomaniac jerks and because of religions that clash and destroy people but THIS SITE IS FOR POETRY NOT POLITICS that being said have a nice day

I am sorry for your friends and those personal things. We all have to pay bills and... My circumstance is not better than that. But I hold on to my inner beauty by not turning my back to my brethren and sisters who are being run over and smashed under the iron heels of these war machines. For if I do, because I am so busy dealing with my own shit, all that be remaining of my existence, would be nothing but this shit, MY shit, the shit that I could never go or even look, beyond. This is the objective of this life, to come out of our personal dungeons and see beyond that. That is the objective of poetry even more: to search beauty within us, in shit. Shit is where the beauty stems from and also poetry should, if it wants to be authentic. Only fake ones stem from somewhere else than dirt my friend.

I'm sorry though I couldn't but see the word "bills" being repeated in your post. Your profile says you come from the US. Do you know where does a big amount of US bills go to? They go to Israel. So you work your ass off for Israeli settlers to sit in an occupied land and watch bombs being dropped over Palestinian children.
