always being compared to my sister!

me and my older sister are 1 1/2 years apart and my mom is always comparing me to her! When it comes to relationships, i am on a low level because i have had 2 boyfriends (my sister hasn't had one) and i like going out more (my sister has fun around the house) and according to my mom, i do nothing! Its crazy though! I always keep the house clean and get my brother ready for school and walk him while my sister only gets herself ready, my mom doesn't give me any credit for what i do! my sister is better than me at a lot of things but like sports and this dance game we really like and my mom smears it in my face! she always is showing my sister off! It really does hurt my feelings, what should i do?

Tell your mom to fuck off and go die in a fire with your sister. :D

Anyway, just tell your mom how you feel about it. And if she doesn't understand, then kill your sister. No, again, I'm kidding. Except for the talking part. Hmm..

Just ask why your sister is her favourite. If she says she isn't then tell her to prove it.

My sister and I are very different, and my mom compares us and stuff but we are 7 years apart, so it is a bit different.

It is too bad that parents do this to their kids because it probably gets in the way of yours and your sisters relationship.

You guys are individuals, and if your mom cannot support you in your endeavors and believe in you like she does your sister that is something SHE will have to deal with.

You should bring it to her attention the next time she does it and tell her you feel left out and unappreciated because of what she does. Tell her it is causing a rift in your relationship.

Dont compare yourself to anyone else, no one is better at being YOU than you are. And you are PERFECT.

Thanks to you who gave advise. I think i will point it out to her. I would just get so mad and upset and say something mean to her and leave but i realize i should talk to her about it. Thanks!
