To release your emotions or to become a great poet i mean some great poets are never realized because they write just for the joy of writing

Create a mixture of both. Find in joy in releasing your emotions. Become original. Being noticed isn't important in poetry.

yeah...i dont think someone can tell you what is better. in reality your going to write how you want to write no matter what people say so i say just do your own thing and go with it!

I write to release feelings and emotions that I cant release any other way. And everything I write is from the heart so...yea.

To release your emotions. It has to come from the heart.
