Are fact and truth the same thing?

    Fact: something that actually occured or exists.

    Truth: the facts corresponding with actual events or happenings.

    Facts can be used to prove anything.

    Truth is undeniable.

    Truth is factual.

    You cannot factualize it.

    Facts are undeniable truths, while truth is based upon undeniable fact.

    Proof that is actual proof (leading to the truth) must be based factually to have any part of truth in it.

    Taking the word play (semantics) out of it:

    "Fact" is peoples perception of truth

    FACT is truth, according to the "perception" of reality.
