Working Out**I need some help here from both sexes**

    Okay, this is really random. But who goes to the gym and lifts weights, run, or whatever to get in shape?

    See, my friends think I am the only girl that works out with a bunch a guys and lifts weights, goes running, or go swimming.

    So, i really am more or less wondering what do u guys think of a girl that lifts weights or just really want stay in shape? Do u find it to be a turn on or a turn off? just tell me what u think! need some opinions

    Well i think it's great a girl goes to the gym and wants to stay in shape, i mean most teenagers these days are lazy couch potatoes so its great u actually care about being healty and in shape! I've only gone sometimes, but a lot of my friends go every week. It's not weird at all, keep doing it!

    My workout consists of 80lbs (hopefully 100 by the end of may), 50 push ups, 500 crunchies, 3-6 mile runs, and swim 8-12 miles a day. I swim everyday even if i don't get the weight room everyday. But i am not liked ripped or anything. Just really toned. It would be so gross if i was ripped considering i am a girl. yuck!! I actually weigh like 103lbs. Anyways, my workout tends to vary considering how pissed off i am or how much pain i am willing to take. Normally I try to work out every other day.

    that is sexy when u see a girl in the weight room working her ass off???? or could it be her workout clothes???? leave ur thoughts and ur opinions.

    you swim 8-12 miles a day?? Keep your weights light and do many hundreds of reps; this way you cut up (not the type of 'cut up' that's discussed on here) rather than bulk up.

    80lbs for just um i can hardly bench it but...no i don't have a bf and i don't lift everyday if anything i run and swim everyday, that's more 2 a week. The crunchies and pushups or 3-4 times a week, and the running and swimming everyday. I am rather more like a twig. My guy friends make fun of me b/c i work out don't really have anything to show for it. But at least i have an outlet on my stress. I mostly do conditioning for swimming. Or as my swim coach calls it "dryland" practice. See my goal is to beat our Swim team captains. Snotty little b*tchs they are. Don't think anyone can beat them. Well, I did once and they are in denial. b/c I am a freshmen and they are juniors and seniors. That's all this working out is for. I am going to go to the Olympics. Well at least I want to. But no I am not ripped just really toned.

    Nothing wrong with that! More power to you...I am the same way..I stay in shape and lift and all that shit too...I do however think those women who have muscles the size of men are...yuck that would be a turn off...BUt its how You want to look because its YOUR body..keep doing what your doing..NO problem with it at all...

    um no i am not like that. i dont wanna be like that either. But can kick a few guys asses.....they have messed with me and they know it. I left some bruises too. I don't slap i punch

    girls are fine fit.. just don't get to the point where ur muscles make ur arms shiny.. thats just gross..

    actually i 80lbs has gotten to be a lot easier. BUT like i said by the end of may i will be at 100lbs. A goal that i am determine to reach. Hope y'all see me at the Olympics soon! I wanna get there but it might be longer than i want. I wanna go my Senior year. But that's a really far goal to go for. I am going to get there though. Only problem is finding a Coach to get me there!

    Easy on the crunches. You're still developing and doing 500 3 or 4 times a week could be detrimental to your development and health.

    Expand on the cardio vascular exercise, try not to worry too much about the rest for now. Grow into training don't train to grow.

    well now i am injured so it doesn't look like i'll be working out for a while considering on what has happened. I don't have an exact diagnosis but I am going to have to see a doctor now. Good grief I hate doctors.

    my knee. it's all swollen and puffy. It hurts like hell to walk on it. So today I got to limp all around the high school. And my friends kept calling me Gimpy. O, and i tripped up the stairs...that was great.

    i went to the Athletic trainer at school today, and he wants me to not run, lift, or swim...for this until it's fully healed. I am going insane. Help me. I don't have my stress outlet anymore. It's been taken away. any other stress reliever ideas?????? Because he says it could take up to a week and 1/2 or just a few days. And it's already been 2!!!!!!!!!! Going insane.....or have already reached that point. lol I need some ideas here. PLEASE

    anyone has suggestions for a person laid off from working out? I might be able to swim this week, even if the doc says i can't I AM!! U can't take the chlorine water away from me. I NEED SOMETHING TO DO!!!! I need some ideas.....i don't have anyone. Being injured sucks, but o well. At least my hwk gets done

    I think it's cool. Work out!! Get healthy!! Somebody has to do it...hahaha

    No seriously....I think it's awesome. I just wouldn't want to get cut and buff like the guys...that's nasty on a chick! But good for you!
