Once upon a time...

there was a girl.
she was in love with a boy for years but didn't realize it was love until she had gone through much heartbreak with another. Those nights she fell asleep with her heartbreak, the boy she loved sat holding her hand and telling her it would be alright. Somethimes, he'd stay with her until it was late, just holding her as they talked of life and watched the stars. She slowly began to see he meant the world to her, but it was too late; the boy moved on and was in love with another.

Now, he still held her as they watched the stars, and held her hand when no one else was looking, but she knew it wasn't the same as before. She still loved him, and praised every moment she had with him, but she knew she could never have him and each time she saw him look at the other girl her heart broke. Yet each moment he made her the center of his attention, and every time he gave her his affection,- I knew all the heartbreak in the world was worth it for those moments.

Sweetie I really wish that there was something that I could say to help you. I know what it's like to have the man of your dreams be right next to you, but him not see you. It's heartbreaking.

But babe...just keep the relationship that you have now. If he starts to leave you, then talk to him and tell him how you feel. But till them, enjoy the time that you guys are together.

have you told this boy how you felt? im asking this because you dont mention this in your story... he sounds like a very genuine boy, and he obviously, if only a little, still has feelings for you... my advice is go for it. do anything you can to get to him, if you feel so strongly. good luck.

I can't tell him. If I do and he rejects me it'll be the worst. It's not the rejection I care about (I can deal with that) it's the idea that people would find out and give me all this lame ass symphaty and tell me "ohh it's ok Sam" with this whole 'I know how you feel' attitude.

it scares and bugs the crap outta me cuase I don't want to be that damsel in distressign heartbreak again.
