I'm very interested in seeing peoples opinions about president Bush..I understand half the people on this site and half the people in the U.S don't like him...In school My Englsih teacher is mad we are still in war...Which a lot of people are...But what some adult told me was that we are still in war until Iraq's government is settled and free...Because if we take our soldiers out of Iraq then there will more then likely be another attack against us...Which makes sense to me if thats true..I'm also very young and still not understanding all of this..BUt I was wondering...say Bush took our soldiers out of Iraq and brought them home..then a month or so later somewhere in the U.S another huge attack happens,...would you guys feel bad then because we all wanted the soldiers to come home...Or would you even put the blam back on him saying he should have never taken them out..Very curious and would like help understanding more! Thanks ... |

Bush doesnt care about the iraqi people, he only cares about the oil in iraq, he is a racist idiot, He sends people to war pointlessly with faked evidence, He is an awful president and I cant believe he got 4 more years, as you can see on the news so may people are still dying, it was a pointless war, and bush is a fool |

Considering EVERYTHING that anyone has said in this thread is directly fed from the media, I think we're all full of shit and we all dont know what we're talking about. |

first off, iraq wasnt the one who attacked us if you are referring to 9/11. that was the talliban mainly in places like afghanistan. iraq was a totally seperate trip, but bush made it look like it was to go after who attacked us so he could get approval. he had been planning to go to iraq, so when 9/11 happened, instead of taking it as an oppurtunity to get the people who really did do this to us, he instead took it as an oppurtunity to approve his own agenda. sure, he did send soldiers to afghanistan, but have you noticed they dont excatly talk about it? and indeed, i do hate bush with a vengence. and as for pulling our troops out, well when we went there, even though sure there was a lagitimate (sp?) reason, not exactly the one publisized though, but he kept changing his reason around. and he had no plan for it either. the part we are in in iraq at the moment is by far the hardest part of the whole operation and we still havent succeded in it after quite awhile. he had no plan for this part what so ever, its a disaster. probably since right now they are drawing attention from it with other stories that dont excatly have to be on the news 24/7, quietly, they will pull out after 'the government is set up' and then like a day later the president of iraq will be assassinated, but we wont here about it because its 'in their governments hands now'. in other words....a complete disaster.....anyway so theres my rant. |

The media in the US is incredibly biased, and is mostly owned by bushes supporters painting a different picture to the americans. He rigged the first elections and didnt even win the popularity vote, I'm frankly amazed people voted for him again, Bush is a bully, I doubt kerry would have been fantastic but surely better than george dubya |

I get was your saying Chelle... i would hate to have a cousin fighting in Iraq..or anywhere at that matter..On that last question you have..I do and I don't think Bush should help our country first..yes i dinfatley think that he should help is country since thats what he's in charge of...But the countries that he's trying to help have rarely anything..People over there live under a dictatorship..So why help a nation thats free first and can basically get what they want when they want...I find that a bit selfish..But I do see where you are coming from and sooner or later I do think he should focus on things happening here... |

You talk about the power of the media re America and Bush and then say the documentary F' 9/11 was good; as if documentarys can offer a more acurate insight. Wrong. The 'makers' perspective shields the truth (if any) and is as bias as any newspaper. |

So it's not him you hate, it is the way he presents himself and the way his ideas are projected. remember that the guy is not a dictator, the senate has a say in things too. |

There are so many reasons that I dont like Bush, the war doesnt ever begain to cover it. |

Farenheit 9/11 is nothing more than propoganda. I could make a documentry using selected clips to show Bush in a light comparable to Mother Teresa if I was so inclined. |

i believe that even in this war we can still have another attack i mean whats stopping them? and really i heard that we're only still Iraq beacuse we're helping rebuild it after the destruction we caused when we went into war, it's not that i hate bush its just that his past decsions weren't his best in my opiuon, like ok in the begging i did want ot go to war because yeah i was pissed and upset about 9-11, but now that we have saddam hussian and the Iraqis have their freedom i just really see no point in being there, like i think its great that we're trying to help them by rebuilding but so far alot of people have been shooting at american soliders and i think that may be a sign that they really don't want us there anymore, and besides i already had a freind who lost a cousin and he was devestated i couldn't even imagen that type of pain to lose someone you love, that why i want this war to stop beacuse i have a brother who wants to go into combat after he's finised at his acadamy, and i know how everyone says its an honor to die in war, honestly those people need to shut the fuck up cause they wouldnt be thinking that if they lost someone dear to them, and im not saying we should pull out all we have to do is TRY to sign a peace tready with the middle east i know people think that can't be done, but if we actualyl try it might just happen, look this war has been going on for too long, and to tell you the truth even with this war nothing will stop anyone from trying to attack im sorry to say that but its true,we dont scare them, i mean sure we have more nucks then anyone, but have we used them?? NOOOOO and we should, we should have droped a nuck on iraq from the begging cause really with this war we've caused just about the same amount of damage. i love america, im just not to found of bush i dont hate him, but like i said i just dont agree with is past decisions, but theres nothing i can do i just though that this was an interesting thred so i decided to share my opiuon. but hey god bless to anyone whos being affected by this war, you're in my thoughts. |

President Bush was elected for a reason. No president that will EVER be elected will make everyone happy. It is not possible to satisfy an entire nation. People have different views and different opinions. That is one thing that makes our country so great. But to disrespect our president is a slap in the face. Not everyone is going to like him....that is fine. But do you think that is reason to put him down? He is my president. Regardless of how I feel about him, I will always respect our president and his decisions. I'm sorry that you can not do the same. |

more free than they were, sure, but any happier? i dont think so. thing is, somehow, we turned the whole 9-11 attacks onto iraq and saddam hussein and all the evils hes commited. what does he have to do with us at all? that is what i wanna know. what are all of bush's brilliant reasons for going into iraq? and yes, no president can make everybody happy, but never has there been one that i have despised so much. be a little openminded, because i have been. and i've tried to find some good in him but there is nothing at all that i like about that man. its as simple as that. and trust me, i wish he would give me reason to respect him. |

Have you lived in Iraq in pre and post war times, and if not, how can you come to a conclusion that Iraqis are any more or less happier now than under Saddam Hussein? |

Actually, if we remove troops from Iraq, another dictatorship is likely to rise up. The whole democracy thing has to be given time to take root. |
