Okay. Here we go. Get to know your friends and family better by this psychology game. Adullts only, please.

You need paper and pen and you tell the subject/s that they're about to do a short writing quiz/creative writng/ call it what you will but don't mention psychology!!!

    The key words are: woods/forest
    Cup
    Key
    Bear
    Water
    wall.

    This is what you do:

    1. Ask the subjec/ts to write about the fact that they are entering a wood or forest. ask them to decribe the wood or forest in as much detail (not too much) as they like.

    2. Now that they are in the forest scene tell them that they are about to come across a cup (what do americans call a drinking vessels for coffee? if it's mug, you say mug instead of cup). Ask them to describe the cup/mug and ask them what happens next.

    3. After that, tell them that they are about to come across a key. Tell them to describe the key and ask them what happens next.

    4. Do the same with the introduction of a bear. They might ask which kind of bear etc. Give no prompts; tell them to do the describing!

    5. Do the same with the introduction of water. Say: you now come across some water in the wood/forest (whichever you've chosen to describe it as to the subject). Ask them to describe the water and ask them what happens.

    6. Finally, tell them, you come across a wall. Describe the wall and ask them what happens.

End of writing. Now tell them that they have been involved in a psychology test, but it was just a bit of fun and is not meant to be taken seriously!

    1. The wood/forest is the subjects view of there life at the moment. look for greenery or empty branches and let them decide what it might mean. you'd be wrong to project a meaning.

    2. The cup/mug is the way the subject views domesticity/cleanlines around the home etc.

    3. The key is the subjects view of the future - their future.

    4. This bear represents trouble and how the subject deals with trouble in life. (some will run in their story; some hide; others embrace the bear).

    5. The water is the subjects views on sex. (always interesting responses to this one;some will splash around - others will, well).

    6. The wall represents views on death. Death in a general sense and not a personal one.

Good luck, have fun. let me know some of you're responses if you like. But remember, it is only a bit of fun.

Strange he missed the 'water' bit. I can't think for the life of me why he'd want to do that!

    Re:

Ahahah. Most of my friends do really well: beautiful leafy forests, gold keys, friendly bears and climbing over walls etc. mine was particularly crap - that's why the 'psch' test sticks in my mind

    VTLO:

If I could understand what you've written above I'd answer - But then again, I don't think you'd understand would you.

The 'water' section can be seen as a release in the story. Think of connotations to do with fluids and things that ooze and gush, and phew! You'll be able to see the reason/s. If you put, when doing the story, that you'd swim in the water/stream, it 'supposed' to mean that you have a healthy sexual appetite; however, if it's avoided in the story i.e. lept across, it 'may' indicate some reasons for sexual avoidance.

Remember, I didn't devise the test. I'm merely sharing it with you.
