Your Friends

Who feels that people of the opposit sex make better friends and why? Especially girls who prefer the company of guys.

I also prefer the company of guys to girls.

Largely because of the issues that girlfriends present, such as the backstabbing, the jealousy, and the general drama-queen tendencies they possess.

However, it is said that the girls who hang around with guys seek validation or need the attention.

What do you think about that?

i was just talking about this with my brother actually. i think guys are more trustworthy and fun than girls are. girls seem to love drama and backstabbing, you hardly ever see that come from a guy. the only bad part is that the guy might think you're hitting on him which makes it more difficult.

"girls are vicious guys understand" pretty much sums it up

about the attention thing, i really have never heard that before, but i'm thinking it was probably made up by a girl who was jealous of another girl hanging out with her boyfriend or her wannabe boyfriend too much. which only enforces the previous statement.

so yeah i'd prefer the company of my guy friends....

i absolutely prefer guy friends to girl friends...there's less drama, its laid back, i can be myself without being judged b/c their not girls, nor are they guys that i like romantically.

and no, guys arent all honest...but the only guys that have ever lied to me have been boyfriends, not my guy friends...

i have more girl than guy friends and like to hang out... well i love hanging out with well both, but my friends that are girls im so comfortable with. I do agree that girls have their bad qualities, but like the old saying goes or my new saying :P haha "buds before studs"

more guy friends then anything..less drama

i like hanging out with guys. I grew up with guys, older guys for that matter. If i had to hang with a girl i would prefer her be alot older. I generally dont like and dont get along with chicks. There is too much drama, jealousy, back-stabbing, and other crap that i would rather not deal with. So yea i would say guys. I just get along better with them.
