a fond farewell

yes i am taking a leave from here until one of two things happens one i get a life and learn to suck it up more or two someone can be nice to me and wont call me names and act like a one-year-old which ever comes first i dont care anymore i just know now i dont ever have any shot at being good at poem writing and people skills

Man, you just have to blow it off....who cares??? It's all in fun. You ought to try joining in and having fun with everyone instead of letting it get to you.

You will never be good at writing if you quit. If people don't like your poems that's okay. Not everyone has the same taste in poetry and remember you can't please everyone. Write because you want to and not worry so much about what other people think. If someone is giving you a hard time on here stick up for yourself. Who cares what people think be your own person. Stay strong and speak your mind. Don't give up!

I agree that there is no need for people to treat you the way they do. and the whole concept of 'slamming' is strange to me. the way i see it, people 'slam' you to bring you down to their level, they dont like that you are maybe better then them and have to knock you down. also i agree that quitting isnt your best option. you will never get anywhere in life if you quit all the time.

One thing you have to realise, if you want to be a professional writer, is that you are NEVER in your whole life going to please everyone. there will always be that one person who hates everything you do. you may not understand why they hate it, or why they have their opinions, but you have to understand that that is how they feel and no mattter what you do you wont be able to change it. quitting every time someone gives you a bad review is NOT the way to becoming a great writer. And sitting around waiting for the world to change isnt going to help either.

if we did meet in real life you prob would never guess it was me i dont look anything like what i sound i also could be acting or lying i may also be five or thirty five you wouldnt know remember you can lie quiet easily online so please leave me the hell alone and i'll do the same

I changed my name b/c I got sick of seeing Chobit everywhere nothing b/c i was called retard. Right now I can care less if you call me retard. No I dont look for "validation" here, if I did then I would be a freak (not that I'm not already). I was going to but then thought of the grate satisfaction you'd get and thought it would be better to bother you more then satisfy you. Oh and I would like to thank you Mr.JustPlainMe b/c you are the reason I am staying. ttyl and have a good day/night/morning.
