In Britain we're not allowed by law to protect our property with extreme force. A while ago some guy was jailed (a farmer) for shooting dead a gypsy who had broke into his property at night.

We have so many drugged up little fuckers here breaking into cars and houses that it's an epidemic

In America, you have the right to protect your property with extreme force: the gun.

I say someone breaks into your home, mugs or assaults your family - you blow the fuckers away! no trial.

Have you ever had to use extreme measures in extreme circumstances?

Look at the death rate in america compared to England. I do agree that you should be able to defend what is yours, but not with extreme force. I say if someone breaks in you have the right to chase them out with a weapon or any means. But killing them is against the law and will make you no better then them.

On a side note, can you imagine all the 'fake' protection killings we would have?
We could invite someone we dont like to our house and kill them saying they were intruders.

I am firmly against guns in the UK. I lived in birmingham for a time while atending university and i was there when those 2 young girls were gunned down on new years. Guns do exist in England, but lets not go around giving every crazy home owner the right to kill. why dont we bring back the death penalty while we are at it!

Your comment on "drugged up little fuckers" is well placed. I heard on the news the other day that the price of an 'E' pill was just 50p thats half of £1 to the americans. and it turns out they arnt buying from dealers, they are buying from friends. I think they should enforce the drug laws a lot more. and young offenders should be dealt with more strictly.

The young offenders know all about the law which they will face, and if you read it carefully, all they will have to do is clean a few walls or some sort of comunity service if they are caught.they dont believe in giving the youth a jail cell. Because of this they know they can get away with many things.

My opinion is that they should tag all children. then we will all know what or who they are doing. this would deter them from commiting an offence as they would know that someone is watching them. the police could enforce them a lot easier and we would be able to make sure they goto school and actually learn something.

There are too many 'do gooders' messing up this world with protect this and protect and protect that. Too many people (especially the kids) know their rights - becuse they are forever telling us that! But when they go off the rails whose rights are they concerned about then?

The bottom line of all this is that people respect pain. The school bully does not pick on someone if they think they're gonna get a good twatting in return; they go for the soft target.

The drugged up piece of shit that walks into my street at 4am is not gonna kick my door down if he knows as soon as he sticks his spotty little face into my living room I'll blow his head into a cabbage field and hide his corpse in a skip!

I see your point of view, i do understand where you are coming from. but dont you think that if they know that you are going to blow their head off they will just plan more. wait for you to go out, or be asleep. it wouldnt deter them, it would just make them think about it more. being tagged on the other hand would inform the police about where they are, and would stop them completely.

as for your "'Tag all children' is pretty extreme." all i have to say is, killing anyone who breaks the law is a little more extreme.

i agree with your statement that pain and hurt will stop a lot of things. this is true, but it will only stop the lesser criminals. the more hard core criminals wont ever stop, be it tagging or death. they will always see that the juice is worth the squeeze.

The question you need to ask yourself is who has the right to judge anyone? who has the right to commit a crime?

i agree that we should be able to protect ourselves. I personally have a samurai sword above my bed, and yes i have had to charge intruders out of my house with it. the difference is that i did not kill them. I think that scaring them is so much better then actually killing them. if we made it legal for home owners to have guns then there would be more guns on the street. therefore more potential criminals will have easier access to guns.

Can you see the problem with your proposed solution? Fighting fire with fire has never been the answer.

You have one chance with an attacker. If you do not meet him/them with enough force they will take you out time and time again.

I think that in a perfect world you should be able to kill anyone who is intruding on your personal property (home, for instance) and trying to rob you or trying to harm you or your family, however, because this isnt a perfect world, that solution is not exactly plausible.

You can mistake someone for an intruder, get trigger happy, and discover you've killed your little brother. You could murder someone just because you are a sick and twisted fuck and say that they were intruding, when in actuality, that's not true at all. There are tons of ways that these laws could go wrong. If people were honest, it would work, and it would be a good way to go, but then again, if people were honest, there wouldnt be intruders and rapists.

Yeah, maybe you can tell that to a man who tries to break into your house and rape you.

Once, while staying with my sister, a man who had been working for them had been upset becuase my sister wouldnt give him the rest of his payment before the job was finished. He wouldnt go away and was getting really intimidating so my sister went to the bedroom to get her gun. Nothing happened, but the man went away and finished the job. I know it's not much of a story but its the closest I can come to for backing up why I think that its great that as americans we can shoot people for such things.

Ok so someone is commiting a crime and stealing your things.... Insurance. Did the tv really mean that much to you to take a persons life?

I understand the case where you feel your family is in danger, but what about when you are just walking down the street? any person could threaten your family on the street. Does this mean we should all stay home? Or should we all carry guns around all of the time?

When someone is breaking into your property or is about to mug you, the situation can change rapidly from theft to murder or attempted murder within seconds. Consequently, you, or your attacker, can be hospitalized or made into food for worms. Make sure that it's your attacker; because they will not give a flying fuck about you or your grieving family.

If they come to punch you, you hit them back.
If they come with a stick, you go to break bones.
If they come with a knife or a gun, you wipe them out.
