UGH....I AM A TOTAL EX FAN...i was whispering worse then what the f*** i was TOTALLY bummed out

My sister is the biggest Metallica fan ever!! She has the cd on right now. she can play most of there songs on her electric guitar. yeh, she prefers there older songs than there new ones. but she still thinks they ROCK. yeh, i think there prett-e Kool. they still kick ass.

Isn't it still metallica? I have the St Anger CD, and on it their name is STILL metallica...
It's alright, the songs are long and boring, they've lost it, yes, but hey; there old sh!t rocks.

i love em! i mean their recent stuff isn't the same as the old stuff but i guess they're trying out new things and styles, you're not going to like it all are you! my fav is master of puppets i think but the one of s&m rather than the original.

Okay. I love Their old shit, and honestly i think the new shit is for the new era in music that the attempt to try, failed. St.Anger was not them at all. But hey, everyone makes some sortta mistake. Metallica only made the mistake of joining the money hungary bastard they call a drummer. If he was never in the band, i think they could have made it farther. *(yea, if they had someone else as a drummer)* i mean, i love their old shit still, and hell i seem them in concert last year. Im not going to condem them for making music. I gotta give them credit.I mean they are like the original metal gods. Well, naw led zepplin's up there, too.

I dont know. im so confused still. I guess i was bummed out with st.anger. But i still have to give them my best, because they're all i used to listen to.

I mean, the first 5 was like the best albums ever...but St Anger is a disgrace and a scorn to all their (EX) fans

I am such a big fan of Metallica, and have been for years. And I totally understand why people are pissed about St. Anger. When I listened to it, all I could think is "Where are the boys I grew to love?". I mean some songs are /okay/ but most are.. ughhh.. I don't know. It's just not the same, let's put it that way.

But just because I don't like their newest album doesn't make me an ex-fan and it isn't going to make me stop listening to their old stuff. I am a die-hard fan and I always will be. No amount of sucky songs are going to change the fact that these guys are legends and have made awesome songs in the past.

Oh, and what's wrong with Nothing Else Matters? I love that song. So yeah it's slow and has some meaningful lyrics, but just because Metallica is mostly metal doesn't mean that can't put a slower song once and a while.

And btw.. who calls them Lica?
