Oh no....ghosts!

This has probably been covered before, but, hey oh.

I think that when you're dead, that's it you're dead. Nothingness; a light switched out -no afterlife and no going yaaboo! in someones house at night to frighten them silly.

I have never seen a so called ghost, and things that have happened that might indicate somekind of ghost activity, well, I've always managed to come up with a logical explanation.

So, (i) there are no ghosts.
(ii) if there were ghosts, then surely everthing on Earth has the right to this 'afterlife' and so every other cat, dog, monkey, flee etc could be a ghostly image.

We, as humans, have consructed this notion of the cosy afterlife (heaven), as we have done with ghosts.

Come on then, tell me different and let's hear your ghost stories

Ghosts, spirits, whatever it is you want to call them, only really hang around here if theres a reason. Like They have unfinished business, or to protect someone, or if they're waiting for someone to come home.

Ghosts are real, I have no doubt.

When my grandpa died, my sister, my mom, my aunt, and I were all at different places (my aunt in a different state even), and ALL of our TV's turned on and switched to the SAME station at the exact same time, to my grandpas favorite channel. That was the exact minute he died, according to the hospital.

My basement is haunted.

i know ghosts are real cus my old house was haunted really bad! we used to always see a man in our garden. it was freaky ass shit believe me. and we had heapsa photoes of apparitions. (People).

i think that when someone says they seen a ghost they just c a image caught in time...i do beleive in ghosts but i dont think u can c them....

Hmm, well I have two stories.
A. When my grandfather died, we were sitting in the hotel room, and the door opened and we heard the empty chair "poof" as if someone was sitting down.
B. The new house i live in, was the home of a family whoes dad died, and he tends to do laundry a lot. And, take showers. (DONT ASK).

one time i was in my sisters house which is old and i got someting out of the fridge and closed the door then came bk nd it was open this kept happenin 4 a whil(i was in the house babysittin so it was only me+my nephew)

i was lay in my bed and i opened my eyes cus something woke me up. and there was a girl peering over my fish tank on the otha side of the room, so i put the blanket ova my head. and i w8ed for about a minute, then i looked and she was gone! and another time i used to here breathing in my room. and when i turn the light on it would stop. this happened everynight for about a week. then it just stopped. and sometimes the breathing used to be realy close 2 my ear.... scary or what...??!!

Had to come in and say something. The topic was stuck on 13. Yer, know; just in case, an' all that.

By the way has anyone had the misfortune to watch 'Most Haunted' on Sky? What a pile of junk!!!

Yeah i watch it, they NEVER catch a ghost do they??? And they get so hysterical and it makes me laugh SO much!!!!

i sometimes feel ghosts or spirits or whatever around me, like right now, lol...and this summer when i was surfing the web at like 3 in the morning (ya i was bored and couldn't sleep) i was looking up like just random words looking for crazy stupid web pages and i typed in something, i don't remember what, but it had nothing to do with witches or ghosts or anything and then my computer screen turned off, and when i pushed the button to turn it back on there were like 10 web pages popped up, like opened, about ghosts and witches and all this stuff like that, it was freaky, then like 5 minutes later i have the window right by my computer and under it there is this pile of rocks like separating the driveway from the grass and there was this big crash/like thing sounding like something had jumped off the roof or *out my window* or something and when i went downstairs to look there was nothing out there...weird

Well Felicity i believe you aye!!,cuz i seen my great grandmother,she was a lil old lady who was wearing a green cardy i felt her around then saw her she was just checkin up on me and my fam!!..hehe

Nah, never really experienced a ghostly type thing.

I used to hear people talking or walking around, or I'd get the feeling that someone was watching me. I once saw that plasma-ey stuff floating at the top of my stairs. My sister says I have demons in my house cuz the only one to die here was my baby sister and my parents don't believe in god. The reason they do stuff to me is because I DO believe in god and go to church and such. They try to scare me away from god. they can't get me when im awake so they try to attack me in my dreams. I've had a bunch of horrible dreams where they are watchign or trying to kill me, or trying to scare me.

Oh, and any time anyone tries to take a picture of me theres always an orb like thing around me.

I have orbs in my pictures aswell, sometimes you can even see faces in them, one smiling one looking angry/upset. I took a picture of my dog the other day, and theres two faces in it. One smiling and one looking angry/upset. Kinda scary.

wow.. i see things that arn't there all the time.. and i hear them too.. quite often someone calling my name.... i think i'm possesed... like something is inside of me... i hear this voice in my head telling me to do other things... ahh well... i'm still in control...

Just don't let that voice take over! lol. Could be very dangerous!

Well If you believe in god (Like I do) just ask god to get rid of them for you. Or tell them they have no power to make you change your mind so they had better bugger off before you ask god to kick their asses.

I have had scary feelings ect...mainly in my old house and my dad once heard a voice, or rather it was like words that just appeared in his head saying "ha ha ha you think your funny, you don't want me you want my money" when he was just thinking he was making a good profit for a change. I think-and so does he- that it is the devil trying to scare us or trying to turn us away from god-not going to work, but yes to an extent I do believe in ghosts cause my mum says she saw my grans (her mums) face floating nearby her pillow one night and smiling at her.

What if they are a different religion? Or don't believe in God? They're not likely to listen are they.

i always hear breathing aswell but then i found out that someppl throw their voice when they sllep and i can throw my voice anywayz so i guessed and hoped it was that!!

my house is haunted..and it's scaring the shit out of me.lol

-We hear a little girl crying sometimes, really late at night. But when we go see, it stops.
-A couple of days ago we found scratches on my brothers desk but they wern't cet scratches, it was as if a hand had done that.
-Things move to other places at night, like we would found a knife in the living room.
-Weird sounds come out of my closet in my room. It would suddently open and then just weird sounds come out of it.

Oh and you know when you feel a presence or someone staring at you well i get that all the time. But i got use to it so i tell them to fuck off.

lol yeah..I love it they scare the shit out of me and i love it but hate it.

I'm weird i know...

Now that is scary! I would actually want to move!!! Lol.
