poem i sent to my ex

i sent this poem to my ex (he broke up with me):
No matter what has happened in the past,
Just remember how we had a blast.
Here and there we had a glitch,
Mostly because I was a b****.
I would love for us to go back to before,
When our friendship wasn't a war.
Sometimes I wonder where it went wrong,
Was it just that we didn't belong?
Or that I just wasn't good enough
For everything you gave me--dismissed as "stuff."
I never paid enough attention to the clues you sent,
Too focused on other non-important content.
Even though you may be moving,
I will still work hard and begin improving.
So I guess i just want to say,
whatever else happens, friends I hope we stay.

i sent it because i didnt want to become one of those couples that breaks up and never talks to one other. we had that relationship where we became friends first and then he asked me out. so anyways, i sent him that poem and he told me that someone who he only talks to online and in school are people he calls "aquaintances." would this be true? because then i have a lot of "aquaintances"
